Minecraft Dungeons 2 on Steam Deck
Minecraft Dungeons II should now be playable on Steam Deck after the October 1, 2026 Steam update. Mojang has not called the game fully Steam Deck Verified yet and warns that some issues can remain.

Is Minecraft Dungeons 2 playable on Steam Deck?
Minecraft Dungeons II should now be playable on Steam Deck, while full Steam Deck verification is still pending and some issues such as missing on-screen keyboard functionality may occur.
“Playable” is the important wording here. The official update does not say the game has already reached full Steam Deck Verified status.
Known Steam Deck limitations
Mojang gives missing on-screen keyboard functionality as one example of an issue that may still occur and says more improvements are coming in a future update.
The same update raised the Emerald cap
The emerald cap was increased from 9,999 to 99,999 on all platforms. The balance change takes effect after the next login and does not require a game update.
This part of the October 1 change is not Steam-only: the official changelog says the balance update applies to all platforms.
